2355hrs - Contractors at Herne Hill have been instructed by NTC to cease their works, owing to the impact it is having on the diversion of other works at Gresham Road. Contractors are trying to work under an NOE which was postponed last weekend, and they have not reapplied for permission to close the road. Routes diverting due to Herne Hill closure can return LOR, and routes diverting at Gresham Road can continue with their previous diversion route.

Herne Hill is currently closed in all directions owing to unplanned roadworks at the locations.

Due to the closure of Gresham Road, this is also affecting buses on diversion.

Whilst NTC attends to assess both closures, and risk assess potential diversion routes, Operators have been instructed to implement their own diversions in the meantime.
