We are aware of various demonstrations taking place today Saturday 1st May 2021. There's no Notice of Events. Each demo/protest will be actioned in real time.
Rebellion of One – From 1100hrs XR Campaign promoting individuals to ‘sit’ in the
road. Individuals will have a support team with them but the action is for one
person. This has been promoted nationally.
Kill the Bill / May Day protests – From 1200hrs-There are a number of different groups advertising that they are coming out on this day. It is currently unclear at this point to whether there will be a joined up approach or whether they will collaborate
Islington Town Hall/Upper Street - Possible Road closures from 1300hrs due to a planned protest.
Buses
are not to divert unless instructed by NMCC, London Buses Officials or a
Metropolitan Police Officer.
